When it comes to producing popular vaping devices and arguably the best ecigs that break new ground in the industry, VaporFi has been making quite a name for itself Some people are still a bit confused about the differences between some of these popular products. Take, for example, the 40-watt and 80-watt models. Aside from the obvious difference in wattage, what makes these two devices so distinct? In this VaporFi VOX 40 and 80 TC MOD Review, we’ll endeavor to find out.
The VaporFi VOX 40 TC MOD
The VaporFi VOX 40 TC MOD is a marvel of technology, and has earned a reputation as the tiniest device of its kind in the marketplace today and there are many great box
mods on the market to compete with. At the same time, it’s loaded up with a powerful 2200 mAh battery and enough flexibility to enable you to choose vaping wattage between one and forty watts. It’s also compatible with any 510 tank and rebuildable that you want to use – making it a great addition to any builder’s collection.
It comes complete with a great chipset for temp control, and can accommodate everything from titanium and nickel to stainless steel coils for ohm settings ranging from .05 to 1.5 and temperatures ranging betwe
en 100°C and 600°C. All that power and flexibility is encased within a simple design that uses sleek housing and easy-to-understand buttons that help you navigate the features displayed on the OLED screen.
The VaporFi VOX 80 TC MOD
The VaporFi VOX 40 TC MOD is slightly larger than its line-mate and shares the same simple design. Like the 40-watt, it looks like a miniature PC tower, and has the same OLED screen and square buttons that make the 40-watt model such an attractive little device. Those similarities in outer design might make you think that you’ve just latched onto a bigger version of the same old vaping device, but it’s what’s underneath the hood that counts here.
For starters, the 80-watt offers twice the power, which does more than just double the vapor production. As most experienced vapers know, that increase in power produces vapor that is magnitudes of order larger in volume than the lower wattage production as we discussed in the article about increasing vapor production. That wattage is powered by the internal battery. Unlike the 2200 mAh used in the 40-watt, the 80-watt device has a 4000 mAh battery. Now, if you follow the industry at all, then you might be taken aback by that number. It is, after all, one of the largest batteries offered in current-model vaping products!
Again, this device offers temperature control and ohm variances in the same range as its less-powerful cousin. It also accommodates all three of the coil options listed above, which should provide you with the flexibility you need to customize the device as you see fit. And, of course, it comes with the safety features that you expect from any VaporFi product, to protect you and your device from the most common accidents that can sometimes occur.
Naturally, there are some added benefits that you can enjoy from the VaporFi VOX 40 TC MOD. That huge battery that sits inside the device ensures that you can enjoy twice as much vaping pleasure before you need to plug it in for a recharge. That makes this an even better option when you’re vaping on the go and don’t always have access to a power source.

Other Features
It’s important to note that you can get either mod in a starter kit – an upgrade offer that can help you to ensure that you have the tank you need, while also selecting some of the company’s great e-liquid. For the record, that’s how I got mine – and it’s probably the best way for you to buy yours as well.
Both options include USB charging using the micro-USB ports that are included in the devices. As is customary with so many mods, the 40-watt option can’t be used while it is being recharged. The VaporFi VOX 40 TC MOD, however, has a special pass-through feature that enables you to still vape with it even while it’s attached to its charging station. That’s not a feature that I would use, but I can envision circumstances in which it might be a big deal to some other users.
So, what’s our recommendation? First, let’s get this out of the way: if it’s VaporFi, we always recommend that you give it a try. The company is just world-class right now when it comes to quality and innovation. Moreover, they always stand behind everything they do, with guarantees to ensure that you’re satisfied with the product you’ve bought. At the end of the day and after weighing all the options, we prefer the 80-watt for most of our vaping needs, but I’m glad that I have both.
