V2 Cigs has 2 categories of starter kits, classic and EX. The classic starter kits are comprised of the proven technology that built V2 Cigs into the powerhouse it is today. They allow for great customization in the range of power and battery length options available. They also offer greater flavor options by offering special limited run flavors. The EX versions of the kits offer the advanced new technology that offers a rich flavor experience and increased puff count in their cartridges that contain a viewing window for e-liquid levels. The batteries come with matching sleeves that result in an enhanced look to match the enhanced power the battery has. There are benefits to both versions and that’s why both are still being sold on V2 Cigs.
The starter kits come in 4 main options but offer a 5th alternative as well in a power-cig kit as a barebones approach. The kits are the V2 Standard Kit, the V2 Standard E-Liquid Kit, The V2 Standard Kit-EX Series, and the V2 Standard E-Liquid Kit-EX Series. I’s a good idea to consider which type of battery you’re looking for, as well as whether you want to use cartridges or e-liquids with your new starter kit. The e-liquid kit is the only one designed to be used with e-liquid instead of the easy to use pre-filled cartridges for those that want more control over the liquid they use.
When you select the batteries in your kit, it’s good to consider whether you want an automatic or manual style battery. If you’re looking for a battery that’s easy to use you should opt for the automatic batteries, since these are automatically activated when you inhale on the device. These are perfect for people who are routinely multitasking, since you never have to worry about pressing down on a button. Manual batteries are great because they give you more control and allow you to take hits with more vapor.
V2 classic batteries are available in automatic and manual in Black, Blue, Pink, Stainless Steel, and White. One great option with the classic batteries is that you can choose between three different battery lengths: short, standard, and long. While short batteries are more convenient for storing in your pocket, they have a shorter battery life than standard and long batteries. Also, while the long batteries have a longer battery life, they are quite long and will not easily fit into a pants pocket. When you select your batteries, think of whether you value portability or battery life. If you can’t decide, the standard batteries have the best of both worlds. They can easily fit into your pocket or purse and last for around 200 puffs.
V2 EX batteries are now available in automatic and manual, where previously they were only offered in automatic. We love that V2 came out with manual style batteries and a new range of colors because it allows you to really customize your kit to your liking. EX batteries are now available in Opal, Brushed Steel, Matte Black, Blue Pearl, and Rose Gold. Previously, EX batteries were only available in Brushed Steel, so we’re really happy to see some new colors emerge for their highly successful EX line.

V2 Standard Kit
This kit is the perfect choice if you want to get everything you need at a really low price. The V2 Standard Kit comes with 2 V2 classic batteries, 2 packs of V2 flavor cartridges, a V2 Express Charger, and a V2 Wall Adapter for $39.95.
They offer really nice presentation on the packaging with a large white box with all the components neatly organized and ready to use. V2 Cigs sends the kit fully ready to use. The battery is partially charged so you can go ahead and take that first puff right away instead of waiting while your batteries charge for a while. The vapor production from classic V2 Cigs kit is amazing. It has an excellent throat hit for a more realistic experience.
The cartridges come packaged nicely and individually sealed in a 5-pack aluminum wrapper. The cartridges are also color coded to help you keep your flavors separate. The current classic and EX V2 flavors include: V2 Red (American Tobacco), Congress (Refined Tobacco), Sahara (Turkish Tobacco), V2 Menthol (Refreshing Mint), Peppermint (Sweet Mint), Menthol Tea, Grape, Coffee, Vanilla, Chocolate, Cola and Cherry. They also run special flavors from time to time. Our favorites are definitely the V2 Red and Congress, but if you like something sweet, you will love their Peppermint. It’s the best mint flavor of any brand we’ve tried.
