That’s what you get and that’s what we will be covering with our Sigelei Fuchai 213 Plus review. One of the first things that you will notice about this newest vape mod from the good folks at Sigelei is the very colorful LED screen. All of the vaping information you want to access on an LED screen presented in vibrant colors.

The colors on the LED screen change in relation to how the mod is being used. For example, the battery indicator will change color as the battery power is used. A fully charged pair of 18650 batteries will be indicated with a white color. As the batteries wind down the indicator will change to orange and then to a red when it is time to recharge.

You will also notice that the wattage indicator will change color from a white light to orange and to red as you increase the power. The colorful circle indicates your draw length. The colors add another level of indication to the status of the mod. Plus the colors just look great!

The Sigelei Fuchai 213 Plus is another excellent mod from Sigelei. Both of its predecessors the Fuchai and 213 were very successful. Although the 213 did have some controversy. But at ECCR we feel that the controversy was overblown and not at all reflective of the quality of Sigelei mods and more importantly the enjoyable vaping they provide. So we will start the Sigelei Fuchai 213 Plus review with a look at the past controversy. Rather much ado about nothing.

The Origins Of The Sigelei Fuchai Plus 213

The Sigelei Fuchai 213 Plus is drawn from two previous Sigelei designs. First there was the Sigelei Fuchai mod. The original Fuchai was an affordable 200 watt device capable of temp control vaping with titanium and Ni200 coils. The original Fuchai has basically been phased out as technology has advanced. It remains a solid affordable vape but the Fuchai 213 Plus is equally affordable and more capable. Not to mention firmware upgradeable.

The Sigelei 213 entered the scene with a lot of fanfare. The 213 featured a carbon fiber, lightweight super strong construction and advanced vaping features including ultiple TC options. This mod was very compact for a dual 18650 device. Very comfortable to hold. In my opinion, it deserved the fanfare! The Sigelei 213 vape mod remains one of my favorites. In spite of the controversies.

Sigelei 213 Controversy

There was a bit of a dust-up over the Sigelie 213. Some people said that it really didn’t get to 213 watts and that the temp conrol was not accurate at higher temperatures. To be fair, the end result of the controversy indicated that to get the full 213 watts out of the Sigelei 213 you needed a very low resistance atomizer, 0.2 ohms, and 40 amp batteries. With standard vape batteries it seemed to peak out at 165 watts. Now the vast majority of vapers seldom need 200 watts. I understand some do and if you want 200 watts continuously then perhaps you should look at a quad 18650 300 watt mod.

So I think that any concerns about the Sigelei 213 have been addressed and I have to say that the original carbon fiber 213 is one of my favorites. I use it in real world conditions and love it. It is responsive and reliable. I can’t help but think if there was an off performing 213 that it was likely a clone. The Sigelei 213 is a top rated vape mod. It performs at a high level. Would you use it for a cloud competition, probably not. But for real world vaping the 213 is simply excellent. The Fuchai 213 Plus is following in excellent footsteps.

Using The Sigelei Fuchai 213 Plus

Sigelei’s promotional video above shows how to get started using the Fuchai 213 Plus. To turn it on requires the standard 5 clicks of the power button. Three clicks of the power button gives you access to the menu. In menu mode you can choose variable wattage, temperature control vaping in SS, Ti, Ni200 as well as TCR and TFR. Along with the essential features there are a few additional customizing features you can enjoy.

To access the ramp up feature is pretty easy. Hold the plus button and the fire button at the same time and hold. You will see the ramp up options appear on the display screen. You can set the ramp up wattage and the length of time that the wattage will hold. One seconds is going to be plenty to give you a harder initial hit that most people want the ramp up feature to achieve.

Hold the minus button and the fire button at the same time to lock in your settings. Make sure to do that otherwise an accidental touch of the up or down button can alter your settings and your vaping. Use the same steps to unlock. I must have gone through the menu and setting a hundred times over the course of the Sigelei Fuchai 213 Plus review. It is very quick and easy to get used to access all of the features.

Sigelei Fuchai 213 Plus Review

I have been vaping on the Sigelei Fuchai 213 Plus for a couple of weeks.  I have been very deliberative before publishing this Sigelei Fuchai 213 Plus review because of the differences of opinion that occurred wen the Sigelei 213 was launched. And I certainly stand by my original 213 review and am happy to recommend the Fuchai 213 Plus. I looked for faults, I waited tried every form of vaping looking for a weakness to punch on and the only thing that happened was that I really enjoyed vaping this mod. I’m confident you will enjoy it as well.

I found the Fuchai 213 Plus to be very responsive. I did use the ramp up feature in temp control because I like the initial sensation. That said even without the ramp up I found the new and enhanced temp control that Sigelei installed in the Fuchai 213 Plus to be spot on. Using it as a day to day vape over the course of a couple of weeks it never failed and always satisfied. For any vapers normal day to day vaping experience the Fuchai 213 Plus is excellent.

I mean let’s use some common sense. A $60 mod is not going to go 0 to 60 as fast as a Lost Vape Triade DNA 200 vape mod. The bad press Sigelei got for the 213 was very much undeserved in my opinion. The Sigelei 213 is a fantastic vape mod and so is the Sigelei Fuchai 213 Plus. I hope the critics and vaping community are fair because people deserve to know that they will get full value and fantastic vaping from the Fuchai 213 Plus.

The Fuchai 213 Plus delivers all the popular vaping styles you want. The form factor is beautiful. It can get a little slippery in warmer temperatures but it comes with a silicone sleeve that will give you a firm grip. I thoroughly enjoyed completing our Sigelei Fuchai 213 Plus review. It looks great and I love the colorful screen. Better yet it is a terrific value.
